At Kajkanten, you stay in fully equipped boathouses with private bathroom, shower and kitchenette for self-catering. Several overlook Vrångö guest harbour – a view that shifts beautifully with the weather, seasons and light.

Wake up to seagulls, salty sea air and the special archipelago light. Just around the corner are walking trails, cliffs and beaches. Take a stroll by the water, explore meadows and rocky landscapes, or simply sit down and let the sea work its quiet magic.

Experiences

Kajkanten features a sauna raft – a floating meeting place for warmth, cold dips and togetherness. Sauna sessions, refreshing swims and shared moments come together with the sea as a constant backdrop. Kayaks are available for those who want to explore the archipelago from the water – perfect for gliding between islands and skerries.

On land, Vrångö offers trails for walking and running year-round. Whether you seek stillness or movement, there’s space for both.

Food, flavours and local encounters

Eating well on Vrångö comes naturally. Next to Kajkanten is Hamnkrogen Lotsen, open most of the year, offering breakfast and seafood delivered via catering.
In summer, Restaurant Ternan serves well-prepared meals in a relaxed setting. Kajkanten also collaborates with Karolina Martinson of Algblomman, offering seaweed walks and meals created from the sea’s pantry for your group. Tempo Vrångö, the island’s grocery store, is open year-round in the harbour.
