The fishery conservation area offers good opportunities for fishing for pike, zander, and perch. For those who are interested in angling in the lake, we also have lots of Bream, Tench, Roach, and Rudd. The easiest way to get to the lake for fishing is from the north side. Park by the north part of the lake at Grytteredsviken - Welcome!

More things to do in the area
In addition to fishing in Grytteredssjön, you can also cool off in the water at the lake’s bathing area. A few kilometres from the fisheries conservation area is Limmared, where there are several restaurants such as Glasets Hus and Limmareds Värdshus. And there’s lots of possibilities to find a bargain in any of the 14 antique shops on Storgatan in Limmared. If you enjoy exercising, the historic Oxabanan trail starts 17 km away from Limmared and goes to Tången and Hofsnäs.

The fishery conservation area is located about 30 km south of Ulricehamn. From Tranemo, take national highway 27 towards Borås. Turn right towards Limmared and continue on national highway 157. After around 4 km, take a left towards Ulricehamn, then follow the signs to Hulared
