Kanalvillan Dalsland - an idyll at the Dalsland canal. On an island in the middle of the canal at Langbron's lock. Surrounded by a beautiful park-like garden and dating back 150 years.
Hostel and Pension
Kanalvillan Dalsland has previously been a residence for canal directors. Now it is a guesthouse and hostel dating back to the past 150 years. The main building has ten rooms. Single, twin, triple and quadruple rooms with a sink, showers and toilets centrally located, as well as a dining room and lounge areas. On the peninsula is also the house Sjöstugan with two, three and six-bed rooms, all with shower and toilet.
Sjöstugan also houses a complete self-catering kitchen with dining room. The Conference house is located along the canal and has a wonderful view of Lake Langbrohöljen. In the beautiful garden there are several patios with sitting areas, bridges, deck and barbecue area at the seaside.
Breakfast is served daily in high season.
Experiences and adventure
There are a variety of activities such as canoeing, hiking and passenger boat tours. You can fish, bike or visit sights such as Baldernäs mansion, aqueduct in Håverud, Halmen's hus in Bengtsfors etc.
