In the village of Örsås, just over 7 kilometres south of Svenljunga town, you will find Lake Örsåssjön and its swimming site.
Swimming in Örsås
Örsåssjön is a small lake located in the village of Örsås south of Svenljunga town. In the vicinity of the lake you will also find Örsås church and living history museum farm, where coffee and snacks are served in the summer café during the month of July. The swimming site is equipped with a dressing room, jetty, toilet and barbecue area. The beach consists of a grassy area where you can seek out the shade from surrounding trees.

Head south out of Svenljunga on Route 154 and turn left towards Örsås. Pass the church and follow signs to the swimming site to the left. Keep in mind that there are residents living along the gravel road, so please show consideration by keeping your speed down.

While in the area visiting Örsås badplats you can also take a peek at Örsås church,which dates back to the 15th century. If you are into fishing, you can choose between fishing in the watercourse Assman-Ätran and some of the surrounding lakes or game fishing in Faxsjön.
