Trollhättan National Day Celebration 2026
The National Day celebrations on 6 June begin at Drottningtorget at 3:00 PM with Trollhättans Stadsmusikkår and the gathering for the flag parade. Led by the marching band, the parade proceeds from the square to Stadsparken, where the stage programme begins at 4:00 PM. Only Swedish flags and banners are permitted in the parade.

- Equmeniakyrkans Musikkår performs Under blågul fana
- Presentation of a Swedish banner to Rädda Barnens Lokalförening Trollhättan/Vänersborg and a Swedish flag to Skoftebyns AIS
- Speech for new Swedish citizens by Angelica Lundgren Bielinski
- Presentation of the “Bridge Builder of the Year 2026” award to Trollhättans Fältrittklubb
- Ceremonial speech by Marianne Ahlborg
- Musical performance by David Nilsson together with N3 Symfoniorkester and conductor Ulf Wadenbrandt
- Host: Sanny Mattelin
The National Day celebration traditionally concludes with the Swedish national anthem followed by free ice cream for all visitors. Free admission!

This year’s featured artist is David Nilsson, performing together with the N3 Symphony Orchestra.
National Day Celebration in Sjuntorp
Sjuntorpsrådet invites you to celebrate National Day at Sjuntorpsvallen. In case of bad weather, the celebration will take place at the school. Gates open at 3:00 PM and the programme starts at 4:00 PM.

- Football speed shooting
- Lövkärrsmaden, Sörbacken Hökemossen bigård and others will be present
- Kiosk and barbecue open

The event is organised by Sjuntorpsrådet with support from Trollhättans Stad. The celebration concludes with a National Day service at Fors kyrka at 6:00 PM.
National Day Celebration at Väne Åsaka Heritage Centre
Celebration at the heritage centre together with Gärdhem-Åsaka-Björkekören.
Starts at 1:00 PM.
National Day Concert at Lextorpskyrkan
Welcome to a National Day concert at Lextorpskyrkan featuring the choirs Lyriska and Trollhättans Motettkör. Mingle with light refreshments before the concert. Free admission and a warm welcome! In collaboration with Sensus.
