Accommodation at the old vicarage at the foot of Hunneberg

Carl von Linnaeus visited Västra Tunhem during his journey through Västergötland in 1746. In diaries from that time, you can read, "This Tunhem lay there like an earthly paradise on the southwest side of Hunneberg. The rectory, which was the most beautiful among all I have seen, lay there at the foot of Hunneberg." Travelers can once again stay at the rectory, which is rented out by the day or week.

Welcome to Västra Tunhem's Rectory

This cozy estate is located at the foot of Hunneberg. Here, you can enjoy waffles and coffee in the bakehouse and take walks in the garden where you'll encounter the rectory's chickens and have a peek into the kitchen garden.

Swing under the large beech tree and feel the tranquility in the beautiful surroundings. The garden is open in conjunction with the café's opening hours - please check the café's opening hours on Facebook or Instagram.

Some days a week during the warmer months the old vicarage baking cottage is open as a café. It offers coffee and waffles as well as ice cream that you can take with you when you walk through the vicarage's large garden.

PLEASE NOTE: The café is currently temporarily closed, but it is still possible to rent rooms.
