A lovely cabin for 4-6 people renovated in 2023. The cottage include a bedroom with a double bed, a smaller side room with a bunk bed and a sofa bed in the living room. In the living room, you will find a cozy wood-burning stove.

Boat included
The garden has a nice patio with outdoor furniture and barbecue possibilities. Below the lock, the boat is ready to use with oars and motor. You can use it to go to the supermarket or for bite to eat in Billingsfors. During the summer, when the canal is open for sailing, you can lock through the entire canal system without charges. All lock tickets is included in the rent.
The nearest grocery store is in Billingsfors and the nearest larger town is Bengtsfors.
Magical lock environment
The Dalsland Canal cottages is always by the water, but there are few places along the canal system like lock 18 where it is so clear why it was important to connect the lakes, rivers and rapids to create Dalsland's canal. Beyond the cottage flows a rapid river, which is one of the best fishing waters in Dalsland.

Fishing
To fish, you always need to buy a fishing license, regardless of whether you fish from land or from a boat. The lock 18 in the Dalslands canal leads from lake Laxsjön to lake Kvarnhöljen and then north to Bengtsbrohöljen.
FVO Höljerudforsarna is known for its good trout water. However, fishing is limited, so buy your fishing license well in advance if you plan to fish.
