Fallens Dagar is Sweden's oldest city festival and always begins on the third Friday in July. Since its inception in 1959, Fallens Dagar has offered its visitors great music, fun activities for the whole family, a great variety of performances and lots of exciting competitions. 

The festival by the Trollhättan waterfall
Fallens Dagar (The Waterfall Days) is named after the city's major attraction, the Trollhättan waterfall. During the festival, you can of course see when the water once again rushes into the otherwise empty riverbed at specific times. Several performances and activities are also arranged near the falls. 

Great artists from near and far
Fallens Dagar has welcomed several great artists over the years, both local Swedish artists but also international musicians. Enjoy the music in a quiet and cozy environment at smaller stages in the city or a grand concert from the main stage. 

Market and activities in the center
There is also a lot going on in central Trollhättan during the festival. There will be a large market along the main pedestrian street and along the smaller streets in the center with a large selection of goodies, clothes, toys and more. Several activities suitable for the whole family are also arranged at the main square Drottningtorget. 

Kraftprovet race and the tents at Hansenplatsen
Along the Åkersbergsvägen road, which connects Trollhättan city center and the Trollhättan waterfall, there are tents where local companies and associations show off their businesses. Hansenplatsen, as it is called, is also the starting point for the popular Kraftprovet race that is held on the first day of the festival on Friday, a race that goes around Trollhättan's beautiful waterfall and locks area.
