Guided tour in Vänersborg's museum
Vänersborg

Take the opportunity to join a guided tour of Vänersborg Museum!

Discover the story of why Johan Adolf Andersohn built a museum in Vänersborg—and how it came to house a thousand African birds. Why is there an alligator among the Nordic animals? And is it really true that the authentic sarcophagus contains a fake mummy?

The tour is held in Swedish at 1:00 PM and in English at 2:30 PM, and lasts approximately 30 minutes.

The tour is included in the museum admission fee.

Available on all opening days during the period Wednesday, June 24 – Friday, August 7.

Opening hours: Wednesday–Sunday 12:00–16:00, Thursday 12:00–19:00.

Admission: Adults SEK 70 / Annual pass SEK 140.
Free entry for those under 20 and for students.
