Play like in the old days
Vänersborg

Come and try playing the way people did in the past!

In fair weather, we bring out toys that children in the 19th century in Sweden might have played with. Come and try walking on stilts, skipping rope, or test your skills at catching the ring on a stick.

The toys are available outside the museum and do not require an admission ticket.

Takes place on all open days with suitable weather (no rain and not too windy) from Friday, June 12 to Sunday, August 14.

Opening hours: Wednesday–Sunday 12:00–16:00, Thursday 12:00–19:00.

Museum admission: Adults SEK 70 / Annual pass SEK 140.
Free entry for those under 20 and for students.
