Throughout its history, Vänersborgs FK has always been a club with successful youth activities. We are convinced that this success is due to our focus on development and the joy of playing. In the club, we have both boys' and girls' teams ranging from six years old to senior level.

Vision and Goals

In joy and camaraderie, children and youth have the opportunity to develop into football players and leaders. Everyone should be able to live and grow with football for as long as they wish - as many as possible should play football for as long as possible.

The focus of our activities should be on the individual and their development.

Vänersborgs FK aims to conduct a well-funded, attractive, and stable operation of high quality in men's, women's, junior, youth, and children's football.

Vänersborgs FK should be known for well-trained players, coaches, and teams that play creative and positive football. The club's activities should be a natural choice for players in Vänersborg.

Goals

The overall goals of our activities are to:

• Be Vänersborg's most attractive football club
• Develop as many players as possible to the best of their abilities
• Increase the number of members
• Increase the proportion of girls in the club
• Have Vänersborgs FK take social responsibility

The club's football activities are carried out in accordance with:

• Policies, rules, and guidelines from Västergötlands Fotbollförbund (VFF).
• The Swedish Football Association's (SvFF) player development plans
• The club's bylaws
• Our common values

And in Vänersborgs FK:

We organize the Quality Hotel Cup, a football tournament that spans four weeks during the autumn, with teams from Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland, for children and youth in the following age groups:

Girls 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16/17, as well as Boys 12, 13, 14, 15, 16.

What sets our tournament apart is that we have invested in using a 3-referee system, where all our referees come from VFF and Dalslands FF. The Quality Hotel Cup is held on well-lit artificial turf pitches.

In addition to the Quality Hotel Cup, Vänersborgs Fotbollsklubb also organizes Arenaloppisen and Bakluckeloppisar (flea markets).
