Welcome to Vårhaga Sommargård which is beautifully located by Lake Trehörningen near Sjuntorp, about 11 km south of Trollhättan. Here, a hostel and café is open during the summer. They also offer several fun activities available for the whole family. Vårhaga hostel and café is owned by Trollhättan Missionary congregation
Hostel
You can rent the whole of Vårhaga or individual rooms for overnight stays. Vårhaga has its own garden and a private beach area. Private parking is available at an additional cost. All rooms at the hostel have shared bathroom and shower facilities. Read more and book at Booking.com.
Serving and kiosk
Come to Vårhaga and sit down for a moment and enjoy a "fika" - homemade pastry and coffee. It is offered daily during the summer and on Fridays we also serve our popular waffles. Enjoy the beautiful environment by the shore of Lake Trehörningen and feel free to combine the visit with one or more of our fun activities.
Activities
Vårhaga offers a variety of fun activities. For those who want to see more of the nearby lake, canoe and boat rentals are offered and there is a beach volleyball court that guests have free access to. You can also of course take a dip in the lake and enjoy the cooling water on a hot summer day.
Vårhaga is also suitable for camp schools, parish camps or larger groups.

Canoes, paddle boards and a boat are available for rent during café opening hours.

Directions:
Follow the E45 from Trollhättan towards Gothenburg. Turn left towards Sjuntorp. Follow the road for about 4 km to the exit to the left marked with the sign "Vårhaga 1". Drive another 1 km on "Vårhagavägen" and you are there.
