In addition to my role as curator and project manager for "Songs from the Woods", I also had the opportunity to explore my own place and make my own contribution to it. I found a field of spruce shoots. They became my material. By thinning out, I finally found groups of spruces that spoke to me. Mini-landscapes emerged and islands were formed. Moss islands, bark islands, spruce islands. Islands that float around and touch each other, sometimes a lot and sometimes a little. - Annelie Wallin.
