In the artwork "The Way of Our Nature", Robert Hais wants to depict the struggle between nature and humanity. The sculpture's five parts move like roots above and below the ground on the slopes of Gamle Dal.
The placement in the forest edge, between the landscaped park and the more undirected forest, reinforces the boundary between the different environments.
The sculpture is made of painted and galvanized sheet metal. The artwork's shapes and colors allude to nature's own, but with its sharp lines and slightly exaggerated colors, it becomes a contrast to the surroundings.
