One of Sweden’s Finest Regional Theaters
Vänersborgs Teater is connected to Kulturhuset. The beautiful theater was originally built in 1869 but burned down in 1910. It has since been rebuilt according to the original plans. Vänersborgs Teater frequently hosts large musical shows, stand-up performances, and classical music concerts, with seating for nearly 340 guests and excellent acoustics.
Vänersborg Art Gallery
Located within Kulturhuset, Vänersborgs Konsthall exhibits national and international contemporary art. The gallery aims to be an engaging and inspiring meeting place for both residents and visitors. In its bright and welcoming spaces, several exhibitions are held each year, with guided tours arranged for each exhibition. Group tours can also be booked for your party.
