A 5 km hiking trail around Hallsjön on Halleberg

Discover Hallsjön — the only lake on Halleberg — along this 5 km hiking trail. Along the route you will find, among other things, Kungens kök, shelters, barbecue areas, and excellent fishing opportunities.

Welcome to Hallsjön on Halleberg

Hallsjön is located on the plateau mountain Halleberg and is the mountain’s only lake. The lake is perhaps best known for its fishing, as rainbow trout, brown trout, and Arctic char are stocked here during autumn. You may also catch pike and perch.

But Hallsjön offers much more than fishing. Well-cleared paths, shelters, and barbecue areas make it a perfect place for a relaxing hike in beautiful natural surroundings or for enjoying a peaceful break by the water.
