The Grinnsjön Loop Trail is a medium-length hike where you walk mainly along Lake Grinnsjön, but also partly around Lake Bergsjön. Along the trail there are prepared wind shelters and barbecue areas. On the way you’ll encounter botanical points of interest, ancient remains, and fishing opportunities in the lakes (please note that a fishing permit is required).
Between the lakes lies Grinnsjö Cottage — often called the “pearl” among the mountain cottages. It is beautifully situated on a hill overlooking flower meadows.

Special regulations apply within Ekopark Halle- and Hunneberg, and an overview can be found here. Please remember that the area is rich in wildlife, including moose, beavers, and other animals. During spring, animals and birds are nesting, so please show extra care and respect for nature.
