Wintertime in Vänersborg - our cozy gathering place in Plantaget!

Vintertid i Vänersborg (Wintertime in Vänersborg) takes place from November 22 to January 11 and offers a warm and festive winter atmosphere in Plantaget, with music, activities, and play. And best of all – all children can ride the carousel for free! Municipal hosts keep the carousel running every day from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM (except on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve). Age limit: up to 12 years.

On weekends, mulled wine and gingerbread cookies are served with the help of local community organizations in Vänersborg. And perhaps the most magical part – there is a snow guarantee in Plantaget every single day!

Wintertime in Vänersborg is organized by Vänersborg Municipality in collaboration with Visit Trollhättan–Vänersborg, Forum Vänersborg, and local sponsors.

Carousel: Every day 10:30 AM–6:30 PM (except Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve)
Snowfall in Plantaget: Monday–Friday at 5:30 PM, Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 PM
Mulled wine and gingerbread: Saturdays and Sundays 11:00 AM–3:00 PM
