Through their countless trips to Iran, where they visited nomads, villages and workshops, they have created a unique assortment of hundreds of handmade rugs, where each rug is carefully selected, primarily new rugs, but also a wide range of antique and semi- antique ones.
Large assortment of own imported rugs
Lundin Oriental Rugs offers a large selection of antique, semi-antique and new handmade rugs carefully selected by the staff themselves. The rugs are primarily from Iran. The staff make their own shopping tours to all of Iran's different districts, where each rug is carefully selected to be brought back to Vänersborg for sale.
About the company
Lundin Oriental Rugs was founded in 1990 by Agneta & Per Lundin.
The great interest in the Oriental culture and its beautiful textiles laid the foundation for their company. Handmade rugs are sold primarily from Iran "Persia". Through their countless trips to Iran, they have visited nomads, villages and workshops and have created a unique assortment of hundreds of handmade rugs.
The ambition is to convey a beautiful rug with history and origins, which will spread joy and warmth in the home for a long time.
In their premises, they show the rugs in a genuin environment and they believe that the product should be seen in real life to correctly assess the colours and the wool quality. The rugs are not available to buy online.

An oriental evening includes presentation of the rug's history, manufacturing methods and the three different types of rugs - village, nomad and atalier. The rugs from different areas in Persia will be presented and tips and advice will be given.
