Bodane Petersborg
Åmål
The Bodane-Petersburg cycle round is classified as an easy / medium distance without any major technical difficulties. Along the way you pass, among other things, Tollebol's mill, the nature reserve Bräcke Ängar, the croft Petersborg and many other places that are well worth a stop.
From the start in Hannebol - drive towards county road 164 and then take the cycle path and the exit towards the museum Tollebol's mill. After about 6 kilometers of cycling on a small asphalt road, the surface turns to gravel after the railway track "Svanskogsbanan" has been passed. After about 4 kilometers on the partly very hilly gravel road, turn right at the sign "V Bodane".
Past Käppesjön towards Edsleskog
2.6 km later you come to a roadblock and keep right. Another roadblock is passed after 2 km. After cycling past the northern part of Käppesjön you come to Grättve - turn right and follow the asphalt road towards Edsleskog. On the way you pass the nature reserve Bräcke Ängar, well worth a visit!
Croft Petersburg & swimming opportunities
In Edsleskog - turn right at the sign "Bergane / Baljåsen". At the exit is Edsleskog's vicarage and the site of Edsleskog's old church. The road now goes slightly up 2.5 km to the croft Petersburg which is a very nice resting place. The trip then continues towards Koppan and the passage between the lakes Ömmeln and Övre Kalven and then folds down towards Lake Nedre Kalven. Here you pass the "Tiger Leap" - a place for a daring jump at your own risk into the lake! Shortly afterwards you arrive at Sandviken's bathing area. Here you turn left towards Persbyn and after about 4 km you come to county road 2257 (Svanskogvägen). The road is crossed and you follow a tractor road about 600 m - then take the gravel road towards Segersbyn and Kasenberg. After about 6 km you arrive at a cycle path which you follow to Åmål.
Åmål
In Åmål - turn left past Toyota and right onto Kristinebergsgatan. Keep left on the bike path and right about 150 m after the football pitches. Continue right up on Hesselbomsvägen for about 150m and then past Östra åsen and over the viaduct and road E45 to the finish in Hannebol.
