Öjemossen hike on Hunneberg
Vargön

Hike tour with a guide on beautiful Hunneberg

Discover the untouched nature of Hunneberg with a guide

Welcome to Kungajaktmuseet Älgens Berg that is located on the beautiful plateu mountain Hunneberg. Between June 27 and August 15 we arrange guided hiking tours at the old forest of Öjemossen on Mondays between 14.00 - 17.00 (2 PM - 5 PM).

In the middle of Hunneberg is Öjemossarna, with it’s feeling of wilderness and desolation. The undisturbed location means that the moose and red dear like to stay in the area.

Here you will find some of west Sweden’s oldest pine and spruce stands and an excellent habitat for the birds of the old forest.

We meet at the Kungajaktmuseet Älgens Berg (Royal Hunt Museum - Elk Hill). Read more about the museum here.

We will drive in our own cars to the starting point of the hike. Approx 5 km walking, mostly in terrain (no paths) Suitable from 10 yrs.

Price
Adult 395 SEK
Children 255 SEK (10-12 yrs)

Fruits included. We recommend you to bring something to drink.

Max 12 persons
