Sexdrega church
Sexdrega

A stone church from the early 19th century

It is likely that the first church was erected here as early as the 12th century. The present day church was built on the same site during the early 19th century.

About the Church

The oldest object in the church is the font which dates back to the 12th century and was crafted by Mäster Andreas. The altarpiece also hails from the old church, as does the pulpit and most of the rood screen paintnings.
