A 2-day outdoor festival in Dalaborgsparken

Subkultfestivalen is a cultural festival located in Dalaborgsparken in Vänersborg. The festival was first held for two days in Trollhättans Folkets Park, August 12-13, 2016. The festival's focus is on subcultural and non-conforming interests, lifestyles, and expressions. We have chosen to focus on subcultures such as goth, synth, postpunk, indie, metal, punk, lolita, industrial, techno, and the like.

Subkult is a festival for the whole family and includes both music, art, dance, shows, theater, musicals, workshops, a living market, and skits.

The festival also focuses on making a difference in society by highlighting important aspects of social sustainability, such as inclusion, community, and accessibility throughout the festival.

Dalaborgsparken

Vänersborgs Public Park is beautifully nestled in the greenery at the northern entrance to Vänersborg. There is an open-air dance floor and an open-air theater with about 600 seats under roof. The park facility houses toilets and a smaller serving area.
