The material may only be used in communications that promote the tourism industry in Västra Götaland, i.e., Bohuslän, Dalsland, and Västergötland.
Not for private use
The material may not be used for private or personal purposes.
Photographer credit must be given
The photographer’s name must always be credited in connection with the image, in a manner that is standard within the industry. If this is not possible in digital advertising, the credit should appear close to the material where the image is used or in other accompanying information.
No sharing with third parties
The material may not be transferred, shared, or distributed to third parties.
Material must not be used in an offensive or illegal way
Images must not be used in a manner that violates Swedish or international law, or that could be perceived as offensive, misleading, or derogatory towards the photographer or the persons depicted.

To access and use the Media Bank, you are required to accept these Terms of Use. By accepting the terms and using the Media Bank, you agree to:
1. Permitted Use
Use of images from the Media Bank is strictly limited to promoting the tourism industry within the geographically defined area of Västra Götaland, including Bohuslän, Dalsland, and Västergötland.
Any use outside this purpose or geographical area is not permitted.
2. Correct Contextualisation of Images
Images must always be used in a manner that clearly indicates they illustrate the destination West Sweden or parts thereof. Misleading, incorrect, or deceptive contextualisation is not allowed.
3. Credit Obligation
The creator’s name must be credited in connection with the image in all uses, in accordance with standards within the relevant industry and media channel.
If such crediting is not technically possible, for example in certain digital advertising formats, the credit must instead appear in direct connection with the material in which the image is used or in other accompanying information.
4. Prohibited Transfer
It is not permitted to transfer, sublicense, distribute, or otherwise make images from the Media Bank available to any third party, whether in their original or edited form.
5. Prohibited Use
Images from the Media Bank may not be used for private or personal purposes, or for any purposes not directly connected to promoting the tourism industry in Västra Götaland.
Images may also not be used in any context that violates Swedish or international law, or in a manner that may be perceived as offensive, derogatory, misleading, or unlawful.
Images may not be used in a context that is disparaging to the creator or to individuals depicted in the images.
Liability
We are not responsible for incorrect or incomplete image information, including information regarding the creator, subject, location, or other image-related details.
You are solely responsible for storing and managing the images you have downloaded from the Media Bank.
Rights
All images and other material in the Media Bank, including graphics, photographs, films, code, HTML, and JavaScript, are protected by the Swedish Copyright Act (SFS 1960:729).
Copying, reproduction, transfer, sale, distribution, or any other form of use of images and/or material from the Media Bank in violation of these Terms of Use is prohibited and requires prior permission from us.
If you breach these Terms of Use, we reserve the right to require you to delete any images downloaded from the Media Bank from your computer or other communication devices, and to request that you remove the images from any context in which they are being displayed, to the extent possible.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Use are governed by Swedish law. Any disputes regarding the interpretation or application of the Terms of Use shall be settled by a Swedish general court, with the District Court of Gothenburg as the court of first instance.
