West Sweden’s best areas for Trail Running

Trail running at its most enjoyable

Trail running ought to be fun, and a fantastic nature experience at the same time. So we’ve listed West Sweden’s best nature areas for trail running here where you’ll run along winding paths through leafy forests, and along rocky outcrops right by the sea.

What is trail running?

Trail running is running along paths and in nature, off asphalted roads. The terrain can be anything from forest paths to rocks and uneven surfaces which require more focus and attention than traditional running.

As well as being a physical challenge, trail running also offers a chance to experience nature and the freedom it gives. It’s moreover easier on your joints thanks to the softer surfaces. Trail running is perfect for both beginners and experienced runners who are looking for variation and adventure.
