Accommodation – Sleep in a lakeside glass cabin

Are you looking for unique, secluded and eco-friendly holiday accommodation? At Dalslands Aktiviteter you can stay in architect designed glass cabins set in the Dalsland’s stunning natural surroundings. The cabins are on a promontory with a spectacular view of Lake Iväg. Sitting on your bed, it’s easy to dream the days away, and as the light fades you can listen to the sounds of nature.

Some of the things that make the accommodation climate smart:

  • Local collaboration. Bedclothes are washed at the nearby Rikstvätt Bengtsfors laundry for instance, which washes with low energy and low water use, eco-friendly chemicals and uses fossil fuel free transport.
  • We make it easy for guests to make smart choices and minimise the use of single use articles.
  • The activities on offer have almost no climate impact.

The best time to visit Dalslands Aktiviteter is April to October.

Food – Game meat from our own shop

The food served at Dalslands Aktiviteter takes its inspiration from the forest and lake’s natural pantry. Everything is prepared as far as possible from locally produced ingredients. The centre has, among other things, its own game production with a shop selling elk, deer, wild boar and mouflon meat.

This is where the food served comes from:

  • Breakfast bread is baked at Dalslands Aktiviteter.
  • The potatoes are grown in Värmlandsnäs, a peninsula in Lake Vänern.
  • The eggs come from Torggummans Ägg, a family run business in south Dalsland.
