At the Borås Art Museum, you will find three floors filled with current contemporary art. The museum also excels with Lars Tunbjörk's fantastic photo heritage - a real photo center where you can even try your hand at being a photographer in their studio!
The museum is at the forefront of moving image development, including a broad display program of current video art.
Art City
Borås is like a giant playground for art lovers! Here you'll find hundreds of sculptures, installations, and enormous mural paintings scattered throughout the city. Every other year, they kick off the Borås Art Biennial, a mega festival with international artists taking over the city and immersing you in the world of art!
