Start and end point

The trail starts and ends at Kypegården, just outside of Borås, where there is a large car park. You can also join the trail from Tunnlandsgatan in Hässleholmen.

What to see

Along the walk you’ll pass, among other things, the beautiful Tosseryd Lakes and Tarzanberg Hill’s sheer cliffs, where you’ll find a lovely lookout point with a fantastic view of Lilla Tosseryds Lake.  There are opportunities to fish in both Lilla and Stora Tosseryd Lake as well as Kypegård Lake. As you walk the trail you’ll pass the remains of a number of old stone crofts, with accompanying information boards, and there are more boards placed in the different habitat zones the walk passes through.

Services

There’s a nice designated barbecue area at Horsatorpet, and several shelters and grill areas by Lake Kypesjön, where there’s also a swimming area. A wood fired sauna, shower and changing rooms are situated in Kypegården outdoor recreation area, where there’s also a kiosk selling light snacks. Where the walking trail nears the centre of Borås there’s access to plentiful accommodation and other services like shops and places to eat.
