Jazz@Park Lane – the newest and coolest jazz venue in Göteborg! Right at the cultural ground zero at Götaplatsen beside the city theatre, museum, concert hall on Kungsportsavenyn 38. The famous night club ”Park Lane” in collaboration with Wauxhall Jazz and Göteborg Jazz Orchestra sets a new standard for jazz in Göteborg.

Hildegunn Øiseth

The Norwegian trumpet player has developed her own technique for the traditional Norwegian instrument, the buckhorn. This has opened doors for a more virtuosic playing of the traditional instrument. She draws inspiration also from various regions after many trips and longer stays in Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

Göteborg Jazz Orchestra

The first Monday every month Göteborg Jazz Orchestra performs under the motto ”Jazz is fun!” GJO promotes jazz music in Göteborg, always plays great music, encouraging young talents and presents interesting guests and themes! In their love to music they always look for new expressions and attract collaborations with the best musicians – domestic and abroad.
