What happens when we allow a place to move through us?

At Ekornavallen, a remarkable gathering of stones, we will explore this question through deep listening, somatic movement and imaginative exercises. Together we will experiment with becoming temporary hosts for aspects of the site, inviting stone, weather, space and other more-than-human presences into our bodies and attention.

This workshop is not about learning information about a place, but about creating new relationships with it. It may be of interest to artists, dreamers, walkers, ecologists, clumsy wizards, curious neighbours and anyone drawn to imagination, embodiment and the possibility of encountering the world otherwise.

No experience is necessary—only curiosity and a willingness to participate.

David and the museum will provide transportation to Ekornavallen (pick up and drop off at Kulturhus Skövde) and a lunch. To join the troupe, RSVP to david.spraggs@skovde.se by 18th June.
